Dr.
Robert Lovett, CFP®
provides fee-based tax consulting and tax preparation services
to private clients and clients of investment advisory firms, financial
advisors, security brokers, and bank trust departments.
Dr.
Lovett has earned a Doctorate in Business Administration, Accounting,
and a Master of Science, Taxation, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER™, CFP® certification. Dr. Lovett is a member
of the Academy of Financial Services, the Academy of Finance,
, and Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for Business,
Management, and Administration.
In
addition to his practice, he was a United States Delegate to the
International Standards Organization developing international
practice standards for financial planning. He currently serves
as Program Director and Lead Instructor for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER™ Certification Education Programs at Florida Gulf
Coast University, Fort Myers.
He
is past Regional Director for Florida State University, Certificate
in Financial Planning Program, and past Director of The Institute
of Financial Studies at Nova Southeastern University. He has served
as faculty for Florida Gulf Coast University, Barry University,
Florida State University, Nova Southeastern University, Rollins
College, College for Financial Planning, Florida Metropolitan
University and Monmouth University, instructing business, financial,
and income tax courses.
Dr.
Lovett has authored articles in the field of personal finance
and income taxation, and has edited and authored financial texts
for publishers of financial textbooks. He also lectures on income
tax law and issues of financial interest through his Learning
for Life Seminar Series sponsored by universities and colleges.
